I'm much too young to have experienced EBP, but I go there often to walk around and relax on the absolutely pristine beach there nowadays and wonder what it would have been like to experience the amusement park. Regardless, EBP as it is now is my FAVORITE place to relax in the greater Cleveland area, no matter what season it is! I know all the old racists would say otherwise, but I love that neighborhood and I love the gem that still is EBP! We are so lucky to still have a space there to think about the memories and create new ones. EBP forever!!!!

I was too young to go but I remember Leo’s Casino. My cousin performed there once. He was a member of a group named The Trotters. One of the members, I believe his name was Skip, went on to form The Kinsman Dazz Band, which became The Dazz Band. I left Cleveland for college at 18 in 1972 and return only to visit.

My favotite Ishmael Reed quote from the LP version of "Conjure" is about Good Friday (slightly paraphrasing:) "Where Judas is going, the wine is sweet and sticky... and they don't know how to make ribs." I've been trying to catch up on some of these IR talks. For some reason my library in a town in Northeast Wisconsin got some Ishmael Reed titles back in 1975 or so. That's where I found him.

What's the point? In the past four years, AI has gone from being able to do 10% to 25% of all jobs. In 15 years, I doubt there will be any jobs left, wondering if AI is just innovating by orders of magnitude. Also, no matter how much you work, even if you are guaranteed to have enough, you will never have enough to afford a house, etc.

Why oh why oh why? I don't care about the revenue. I care about the eco impact.

I only remember going there once when my dad's company Lease Neville had a company picnic for the employees. I remember I was afraid of the Laughing Lady figure that welcomed everyone that entered the park. We spent the day there and had a good time till my dad slipped away to converse and have a few beers with his coworkers my mom got mad because she was stuck watching me and my siblings. I think it was around the last year or so before the park closed for forever. 8:40

My family left Ohio in 1960 when I was 10 years old. We visited the Beach every year till we left. Years later, when I heard that the Beach had closed it was if my best friend had died.
